(6) 1-6-2011 HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADI

Today was Madi's 1st Birthday!
It was this day, one year ago, that Lance and I completed our little family. It was the day I waited for on bed rest for 4 months. It was the day I feared, wanting to try a VBAC, but knowing deep inside I would have another C-section . Fearing all the things I had experienced from my 1st C-section.
After it was all over, I was so happy it all happened they way it did. IT WAS PERFECT!!! I was a little sad to have had my tubes tied because it went so easy!!! I got EVERYTHING I wanted to experience that I didn't when I had Rachel. It was a great ending to my season of
"having babies"!
So, here we are a year later and I am so happy!! I rocked Madi before bed tonight and was a bit teary eyed that my baby is no longer a baby, she is a toddler. She is not on a bottle, has not been for several weeks, and she is growing up! ;,-(
We had a little family party just the 4 of us tonight, I practiced my ladybug cake and we opened 2 of her presents. It was fun! She had practice at Christmas, so she is getting good at the opening of gifts!
By the look on Rachel's face in all these pictures,You would think itWas her birthday too!!!This is the Peek-A-Boo baby Rachel insisted she have! Madi LOVES babies!Thank you Papa Raymond & Margie for sending the gift. Cute stuff!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LITTLE MADI BOO!!! We LOVE you!!!

(5) 1-5-2011 Rachel Made the Paper

As I was looking for something to post about today, I was at lunch and someone asked me if I say my daughter on the front page of the paper a few weeks ago. I was so excited I had to track down a copy.
I did, and here it is: Now, you may not know who it was unless you know what part she played, but someone knew and THANK GOD they told me!!! She was the STAR in her class play and here she is in her costume!

She was the cutest star I have ever seen!!!

Pay It Forward

Pay it Forward 2011:
I promise to send something handmade to the first 3 people to comment on this post. To be eligible, you must also post this on your blog offering the same thing to 3 other people. The rules are that it MUST be handmade by you and it must be sent *SOMETIME* in 2011.
I saw this on another blog, didn't get one, but I will TRY more, but I thought it would be a fun thing. I know exactly what I am going to make, I just need to find my 3 lucky winners!!! The suggestion was made that you give yourself a "DUE DATE" so you don't forget!
THANKS MANDY!!!

(4) 1-4-2011 Babysitters Are AWESOME

OK, so it is NOT the best picture, but I had to turn around once to get my make-up and when I forgot my camera and was late and didn't want to turn around again!!! So the picture is from my IPhone, and I think it will do!
I got a babysitter and went to Lance's JV Basketball game. I really enjoyed doing this alone. It was nice. So, we lost 28-31 to Chico, YUCK, but it was a good game.
(There is my honey in the bottom right hand corner :-)

(3) 1-3-2011 Back To School

Today, we went back to school after the Holiday Break. I really missed my kiddos. It was so nice to come back and have them all run up and hug me because they actually missed me! I NEVER thought I would LOVE teaching Second Grade so much. I do, and I thank God for knowing me better than anyone else and I thank Mrs. Z for moving me even though I BEGGED her not to. It was one of the best moves in my career! So, here is my room during my conference while my kiddos were at Music/Computer.

I know feel like I am where I make a difference!

(2) 1-2-2011 Practice Makes Perfect

Today was all about getting Rachel together with her dance partners to practice for their dance contest on Thursday. They are dancing to Dynamite by Taio Cruz. It is SO cute. I will have to try to post a video when they do it at school.
Here are 2 pictures of Rachel and Kirra dancing to it.
