Mommy & Rachel's Day Out!

Our first stop for our big day out was to Chick-fil-A to eat with our friend Mary and William and play a little bit!!! We then took Daddy and Madie to Nana's house and headed to Jump X-treme to enjoy an hour of fun in all the bounce houses. It was a lot of fun getting to do this. We are having Rachel's 5th birthday there so it is always fun!

Here we are ready to go down a big slide together. We did this many times, but this is the only good picture that came out of it!We then headed to a nail place to get our very first Manicures and Pedicures. Neither of us had done this before and I have to say I am SO glad I waited and we got to share this together. I will never forget my first one. Mainly because we shared this. How many times do we as mothers get to say we shared the first of anything with our kids? Not many, so this one is sure to be treasured FOREVER!!!

I let her go first because I was not sure she was really going to be in this for the long haul, but let me tell you, SHE LOVED IT!!!!Here they are finished!!Off to have her manicure. It was so fun to watch!While I had my toes done, I watched her dry her nails in front of a fan, and it was the cutest thing to see her wiggling her tiny fingers in front of a tiny fan.

Here is the finished product. She loved them.I let her pick what was going to be on mine. I gave her free range of any color or any decoration for either of us and she did a GREAT job picking. Nana took pictures of our nails together so I would forever cherish that day with some evidence.

She NEVER Ceases To Amaze Me!!!

We went to Weatherford to have my mother-in-law take pictures of us girls together. She is a budding photographer, that is fully bloomed in my opinion, that likes to have all different subjects. I love my girls being her subjects, but she wanted me to jump in a few and I am so glad she did!!! SO, here is her blog link so you can check them out.

Chirstmas EVE Snow!!!

It snowed like CRAZY on Christmas Eve. I took some of these and even though it was a LONG time ago, I wanted to share.

MY BABIES

This is the first time Rachel REALLY got to see Madie after she was born. Up until this moment, she was in the hospital, or under the lights for her jaundice, so when she finally got to hold her, she inspected every inch of her face. I will never forget this first meeting. She touched every inch of her face and ears. I love the look on her face. SUCH LOVE!!! The love has not let up yet either, I hope an pray it never will!!! I pray they will be close and rely on one another FOREVER!!!

Destined to BFFs???

Here is Madie and Emma!!! Amber and I are doing our best to ensure that these two will be BFFs.Now they will look at each other. Emma just laughs when she sees Madie!!

We just can't wait to see them really play together!!!

Our Trip To Granbury

My Sister In Law had a birthday party for Lance and his mom, and on the way there, he got pulled over. He got a warning, but it got more exciting from there. We ended up stuck on the side of the road due to all the rain we have had. The DPS officer went down the road to ask someone if they could help pull us out. This was after them pushing and pushing to try to get us out.When the guy with the tractor got there, he pulled too far in the ditch and ALMOST got stuck too. The officer had to help him gut out by jumping on the foot step. IT was something else.Rachel was LOVING watching the tractor, the dog that came with him, and all the action.

So, needless to say, we got out and went to have a nice dinner with family!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY!!!

My Girl's First Bath Together

Rachel wanted to take a bath with Madie so bad, so I finally let them!! Madie LOVED IT!!! She loves her big sister so much, so she enjoyed having Rachel entertain her! This is Rachel and Madie celebrating the "Hat Festival" that was apparently going on it the tub that night!!

Out For A Walk With The Girls!

My bestie Amber and I took the kids out for a walk. It was nice to get out and get some much needed exercise. Rachel felt the need to take her baby out for a walk too. She thought of it after we took off, so she ran back to get her stroller and then she remembered her baby needed milk for the walk too. She was out of breath before we even started from running to and from the house. It was really cute!!!

After the walk, we got back to the house and took the babies in so we could put the strollers back on the car. Little did I know that after I went in the house, Rachel took her stroller to the back yard and put it in her car too. I just laughed and KNEW that this was the PERFECT blog post!!!

Month 2- My look how they have grown!!!

Here is my Rachel at 2 months old and a whopping 7 lbs 2 oz and 19 inches long. She had gained 2 pounds 2 ounces and 1 inch in a month!!

Here is Madie at a whopping 9 lbs 4 oz and 22 and a half inches. She gained 1 pound 2 ounces and 1 and a half inches.

I am really beginning to think these girls look almost identical!!!
