(11) 1-11-2011 WOW, What An Exciting Day!!!

The day started out just Madi and I going to Stephenville for her 1 year check-up. We went and she is healthy as a horse. She weighed in at 20 pounds and doing great. We went to lunch with Mimi and Poppy at the hospital where Mimi works (and Madi was born) to see everyone.

Then we came home and hung out waiting to pick up Rachel. Before we left, I tried to put Madi's hair in a teeny tiny ponytail, and low and behold, she has just enough to put up!!! I LOVE IT!!!

I just think this is the cutest face Madi made while I was trying to get the cute ponytail!!!

We went and picked up Rachel and she informed me that her tooth was loose. I have heard this before since LOTS of Kindergartners are loosing their teeth around her. It wasn't the loose the first time.

BUT THIS TIME IT WAS!!!!

I am so excited!!!! I can't wait till she looses it and I can see her snuggletoothed!!!

Then, I decided today that I was going to start working out AGAIN!!! I just need to firm this flabby body up!!! So, here is my new best friend!!!BRING IT JILLIAN!!!

Today was a hard day! I just couldn't think of anything to take a picture of. The only thing I could think of was how incredibly TIRED I am. I am struggling to stay awake this evening and I was pretty snippy with the girls. So, I am heading to bed at 8:30PM. I hear the sheets calling my name!

(9) 1-9-2011 My Big Girl

Madi went for a ride in her brand new "Big Girl" car seat today. It looks SUPER comfy. Of course it was frustrating to find out that the new law was passed that they have to be rear facing until 2 years and 40 pounds.

(8) 1-8-2011 The Party was a SUCCESS

Madi's Birthday party was today. It was FUN!!! She wore a onesie made for her by an awesome gal, and a tutu and crochet had made by Nana. She was SOOOOOO adorable. I made her cakes along with Grammy and I think they turned out AWESOME. I was totally happy with the way it all turned out. I will make a whole post when I get more pics from Nana, but until then, here are a few to hold you over.

(7) 1-7-2011 Good Idea??? I Sure Hope So

Today I have realized that maybe making a bunch of Ladybug cakes and cupcakes, was not such a great idea. I have been getting ready for the party and baking all day. I am excited about her outfit for tomorrow. Oh, and in the middle of all of the getting ready, out water heater is going out and we are having to replace it in the morning! AHHHHHH!!!!!

Every week they have a letter they study in Kindergarten. This week was "D", to they had an all day Dance Contest. Rachel got together with two of her friends and learned a routine to "Dynamite"! It was the cutest thing!
